The interior
There really wasn’t much to work with on the interior!
The conversion was a mess, the radio console was past restoring, virtually none of the internal trim was with the car and the transmission tunnel had been hacked to pieces.
The first job was to fix the structural issues which involved replacing the rocker sills with new pieces. Once the car was sound I could get on with fixing up that conversion. I’ve covered the process in my other builds, although this was harder as the dash and firewall were a mess.
