Allow me to introduce Doris, my belle from St Louis
Doris started life in 1958, and came to Australia in 2011, wanting lots of TLC. After 3 years hiding in my garage, she re-appeared in the lime light end 2014 to be admired for her beauty again.
Since then, she has won many awards.
At the NSW Corvette Club 'Show & shine' in October 2014
she was recognised as the best C1 (1st generation Corvette)
she was rewarded for having the best engine bay of all cars
and the public also gave her the people's choice award. I am most proud of that award!
At the National Corvette Convention in April 2015, she won the only award available: best C1

The conversion
The interior was always beautifully designed. I kept it true to the original GM look but with the steering where we like it ...... on the right side!
